maintain hardware
and operating system
software to enable a
prime contractor to
fulfill its
obligations under a
specific customer
contract. It is
essentially drafted
as a back-to-back
agreement so that
the terms and
conditions of the
head contract are
incorporated into
the subcontract,
unless the parties
agree that certain
head contract
provisions will not
apply or will only
apply with
variations. Contains
specific provisions
for maintenance of
hardware and
operating system
software that may
not have been dealt
with in the customer
contract but which
reflect the
supplier's business
practices.
